Along with a further twelve versions showcasing both veteran and hot new artists.

This CD edition is enhanced with 2 short video clips (one per CD),of exclusive footage shot by Congo Ashanti Roy of the Congos.
source: www.bloodandfire.co.uk/
The two CDs have been programmed so that the first disc features the veteran artists, whilst the second
- with the exception of the Gregory Isaacs cut - showcases the newer talents.
The running order is bookended with the original vocal and dub cuts at the beginning and end.
Of the veterans, most of the vocalists elect to sing on themes of universal love and praise for the Almighty, whilst the deejays tend to talk about the actual activity of fishing in Jamaica.
Among the latter, Big Youth is outstanding, exhorting his flock in typical fashion,
that if ''You gi’ a man a fish, you feed him fi a day, but you teach him how to fish an’ he could feed a nation...'', but all the performances are similarly committed.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - I'm With You (2011)
Release Year: 2011
Tracklist:
When John Frusciante quit the Red Hot Chili Peppers for the second and apparently final time in 2009, many fans wondered if the guitarist’s departure signaled the death knell for the multi-platinum funk-rock superstars.Such fears can be put to rest with the release of the band’s tenth album I’m With You, on which Josh Klinghoffer firmly establishes himself as the world’s newest guitar hero.Give it up for this guy: Although most axe slingers would have given their eyeteeth to join a big-time (and big paying) band like the Peppers, they would just as surely blown it by overplaying or underplaying their hands, piling on rock clichés or attempting to be Frusciante clones.By being his own man, Klinghoffer strikes the right balance, making his presence felt by following his heart while not betraying the true sound and spirit of the group.Sure, he’s obviously influenced by The Edge and Andy Summers (just as Frusciante was by Jimi Hendrix and Frank Zappa), but Klinghoffer is also a singular talent, ruled by a quest for pure sound and emotion. Like The Edge when he first appeared on the scene, he’s a newfangled sonic Jackson Pollock, splattering his canvas with hunger and spirit, ready to make a mark - his own mark. Not to imply that the rest of the band are mere pikers; in fact, throughout much of I’m With You, the core of the Peppers – bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith and frontman Anthony Kiedis – perform with a gusto not heard since their 1991 breakthrough, Mother’s Milk. Whether the new kid on the block had anything to do with their rebirth doesn’t really matter; in the end, it’s results that count.A marked sense of maturity permeates the 14-song set, which sees the group tackling countrified ballads, garage rock, ‘70s disco and variations on funk (of course) with equal parts reverence and a need to reinvent. Even Kiedis, who does occasionally lapse into his love-it-or-hate-it nursery rhythm-like rap style, seems imbued with restraint and taste, pondering mortality and purpose throughout much of I’m With You.
The record marks a rebirth for Red Hot Chili Peppers. Klinghoffer's presence can be felt throughout the music. At the same time, Smith, Flea, and Kiedis continue to evolve. After a propulsive drum beat and some organic jamming, "Monarchy of Roses" rolls with a thunder that only Led Zeppelin has ever captured on record. It's a heavy, hypnotic opener that announces the arrival of these rock 'n' roll deities before snapping into a bass-driven danceable bridge that feels utterly funkadelic.
A jazzy stomp of bass and drums fuels "Factory of Faith" as Kiedis declares, "I was searching for a dream". The chorus slips into psychedelic territory tightly locked inside Klinghoffer's riffing. More funk flash fireworks from Flea's bass land at the beginning of "Ethiopia" as his brilliant playing clenches tightly to Kiedis's poetically poignant hook."Annie Wants A Baby" sees the group sail way past "Californication" and into an evolved, evocative storytelling that sears as much as John Steinbeck and John Lennon simultaneously. The dreamy drops on the bridge stretch into outer space on the wings of Flea's bass and Klinghoffer's flawless fretwork. "Look Around" is an up-tempo sunny rocker complete with handclaps at all the right times. The first single "The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie" sets the stage for the sultry blues reggae of "Did I Let You Know". Then there's "Police Station" which could very well be the most vibrantly visceral visual that the band has ever conjured. The song paints vivid portrait of loneliness and failure that's as tearjerkingly infectious as "Under the Bridge" but with another two decades of instrumental intricacy infused at heart.Red hot Chili Peppers allow for a groovy climax during "Dance, Dance, Dance". It's a final announcement of this resurrection. Kiedis ends, "Give yourself a chance to find the way".They've found that way and it led them to the best album of their legendary career to date and a rock record for the ages.
